Have had a pair of RTA 11t's for about 15 years. Been good overall but every now and then I hear popping and scratching especially at low volume. Seems to be more frequent over the past two years. Any suggestions?

I have heard other folks talking about the same thing. It has been suggested that it is something to do with crossover failure. Call Ken at Polk Customer Service and he can probably help you.
BTW, Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the response and info. Can you tell me anything about this "crossover" issue? Thanks again for the welcome.
I afraid that is all I know. After you speak with Ken, please post back here what he tells you.

I just did a search "RTA 11T" and there is a whole thread with pictures to boot on the crossover situation. Great forum thanks for the heads up and will post anything new I find out.
I think the pics you are refering to are of the upgrade that byteme did on his stock 11T's making them into 11TL's. It had nothing to do with the problem you're having.
