Amp problems

I have a sony ds3000es with a a pair of SDA 2's and its great for surround sound but on 2 channel its not even close way under powered and flat sound. I'm looking at a Carver C1 and M1.5T amp to use for 2 channel. any ideas or sugestions would be apperciated.

Ebay has Carver tfm stuff for sale constantly...and 1.5t also...
Audiogon too.
Be patient...prices go up and down in cycles..
