Default Cleaning and caring for my speakers

    I have rt55's, cs400 and psw650 speakers all in a black finish.

I have a small nick exposing the wood that I would like to cover up. I would also like to perhaps polish them with furniture polish. What is safe to use to accomplish these tasks?

I would use a chamois and warm water. I have one I use only on my audio equipment. I also use it on my DLP screen.

Use a black magic marker/Sharpie to cover up the nick.

Furniture polish is overrated and in some cases harmful (Pledge), so much like Steve's suggestion I recommend a soft, damp cloth (water) to remove the dust.
