    Default Panny PJ flickers...

So, my year-old Panasonic PJ (PT-AX200U) has started flickering - dim, bright, dim, bright...
808 hours... Is this typical or unusual? I'm guessing a new bulb is in order??
For some reason, I thought 2,000 hours was the norm for a bulb.

Often depends but lamps vary. If your running the PJ in normal mode try running it on High Lamp. Sometimes the bulb may strike in different positions when being turned out which may create and arc resulting in lamp flicker. Running it in High Lamp may cause the lamp to settle after a few hours (20-30hrs), sometimes less and the lamp will be fine. If you still notice the flicker then it is time for a replacement as it very well could be a defective lamp.

Depending on lamp cost, I would consider selling the unit as is and going for a 1080p unit. With a 120" screen you would definitely notice the improvement.
