I fully expected you guys to be arguing about the ending of LOST. Don't let me down! :p

    I enjoyed the series.

    Eh, arguing is pointless.

If you enjoyed the six years of fun episodes, I don't think you should discount the show based on a finale that you may not have liked.

I personally liked the finale for the most part - the show was always about the characters more than the mythology to me so it was nice to see so many great character moments. I would have liked a FEW more things to be wrapped up with regards to some loose plot ends, but... it was a fun ride, what more do you want from your entertainment? :)
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I'm just happy it's finally over.

Can't argue about the ending because I've never seen it.

Anxiously awaiting the next season of Dexter, Mad Men, House, and True Blood. Never watched so much TV in my life. :p

There are a million threads about movies I've never seen, TV shows I've never watched, and albums I've never listened to on the Internet, and yet I rarely feel the need to loudly proclaim the fact, I really wonder what kind of jackassery drives you folks to do so.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

The same "jackassery" that drives you to post in threads about things that you don't care about in order to point out said jackassery!

I don't understand this comment any more than I understood the Lost finale last night. Are you saying it's jackassery to comment on a show you haven't seen, or to spend time discussing one you have seen?

Oh well, if I'm a jackass, so be it. :) The finale bummed me out. I would have liked a lot more explanation of the crap that happened in the first five seasons. Feels like I waited though the whole show and that monster finale just to get 5 minutes of exposition that half-heartedly explained what was going on in this last season.

I do care about Lost, it was one of my favorite shows, otherwise I wouldn't be in this thread at all.

The jackassery is people feeling the need to proclaim that they've never seen a show. "I've never watched an episode of Lost, and I'm glad!!" I just don't get it. It's just a TV show, if you don't want to watch it, why do you need to announce it to the world?
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

The trivial banter common to an atmosphere of comraderie and friendship. Thanks for calling me a jackass.

Ah... got it, now I feel like less of a jackass. ;) So while you're at it can you explain last night's episode to me? Hurhur... just kidding. I'm pretty sure I understood what it was supposed to mean... just wasn't super happy about it. But I did get a lot of hours of enjoyment out of the show over the years.

At least it wasn't as bad as what those Wachowski bastards did to The Matrix! :D

I was satisfied with the ending, but it definitely seems like they just invented this whole last season as a shoehorned-in explanation that doesn't really answer many of the questions from seasons 1-5. The whole flash-sideways thing just seemed like an afterthought.

Yeah, I want a do-over on this whole last season. It's like they were going a certain way and then all the sudden they took a louie and made the show about something completely different. I blame J J Abrams for not finishing what he started. I would not hesitate to beat him with his own shoe.

To all those of you who have not spent the last 6 years of your life watching and thinking about this show, I commend and envy you, even though you are all jackasses. :D

They left Anna Lucia behind too. No love for the latinas. Sayid was brown... ish, and they let him through. So random.

Mr Eko was asking for like, 5x as much as anyone else for 3 minutes of screen time, so they told him he wasn't allowed in the afterlife :)

Yeah, and the guy who played Michael apparently was trashing the writing in interviews after they blew him up on Widmore's freighter, so he doesn't get into heaven either.

I heard Cuse and Lindelof said Walt was going to be in the finale, which gave me hope that they would go back to some of the stuff from the first couple of seasons. They totally suckered me in with that. Bastards!

Actually, the guy who played Michael was on the Jimmy Kimmel rap-up show, and he was asked about that. He said that Michael is stuck on the island as one of the whisperers. Makes sense, considering he killed two people there.

And Michael is a character on teh TV show. I'm sure the actor who played Michael (Harold Pirrineau) will be just fine in the afterlife :)

All those questions, and more, explain exactly why I never got into that show.
