One of my favorites. He could play that crazy character better than anyone.

    Who can forget Blue Velvet?

He was the ultimate easy rider - born to be wild!

Apocalypse Now, Warning some harsh language is used for a moment.

Remember Speed? Why are they messing with me? What do you do?

He was great in commericals too. Dreams don't retire.

Don't forget True Romance. The scene with Hopper and Christopher Walken is classic. EZ Rider is one of my all time favorites.

    This is sad...

Thanks for bringing up True Romance.

This is a sad Memorial Weekend with Gary too.

I've heard it comes in threes. I hope not.

He's an OK actor and certainly shined in a supporting role more than "leading role"....it happens, cheers.

True, he never made the shining star role. Not sure if he wanted it, or didn't get it, or didn't care.

He was oddly weird, and I liked him.

The supporting actors are the unsung heros of Hollywood.
The supporting people are the unsung heros of our lives.
We all need support in our lives.

Dennis Hopper was one of the few in Hollywood that understood what the real world is really about.

Truly one of a kind, a fantastic actor, photographer and sculptor. RIP Dennis, you deserve it.

The greatest line ever from Blue Velvet, one I could relate to...."I'll f*@k anything that moves." :D
