Coda 04r Preamp

I will be looking at a Coda 04r preamp tomorrow as a replacement for my Forte Model 2. I've searched the internet for information on Coda in general and the 04r specifically. I haven't found much information on either. Does anyone here have any experience with Coda equipment or the 04r preamp?

Coda IIRC had some ex Threshold folks involved with their design.I have read some very positive reviews of some of their units but not the 04 specifically.

Thanks FTGV, that is my understanding also regarding ex Threshold employees being with CODA. The limited information I can find regarding CODA on internet is positive - including the 04r preamp. I was hoping someone here had actually owned or heard it personally. My amp is a Forte Model 3, so I'm hoping the CODA will be a nice step up from the Model 2 preamp.
