Default Rich people in the LA area ;)

I noticed these SDA SRS on CL, but I can't drop $1500 at the moment :(

If anyone is looking, these appear to be in good shape, but I have not checked them out personally, for fear that I would take a cash advance on my credit card and break out the caps and irons.

Wife would never let me. . . Can't believe that someone in Palmdale would have SDA's.

Ha Ha!!! No, I suppose funds are an issue too. Just dropped $1200 on some Dynaudio contours. So, cash is in short supply right now!

I was in Palmdale the other day. It'd be fun to listen to these, but I'd feel guilty... as there's no way I'd pay $1,500 for them. (That's a statement about me, not about the speakers.)

Maybe that is why I am still single? Oh well, love me, love my speakers. My original goal was to create a classic polk SDA music stereo/5.1 HT setup, but they keep adding channels to the HT, so I kept adding speakers. Now I just need a room big enough... CL in the LA area is responsible for most of these, just so many people that patience pays huge dividends.

I don't have quite all of these any more. The SDA CRS I rebuilt and gave to my father for fathers day (he has SDAs and turned me on to polk audio initially) The monitor 7's have been slowly parted out to replace bad drivers, and I have added another pair of 5jrs and a PSW505 for a little low end.

Yea the 10's have RD0s in now, which I keep in my room to listen while I work, and they are very crisp and enjoyable. One day they will all get upgraded, but that day is $800 away, and I still have the SDA SRS to save up for ;) One of these days, they will be mine. Oh yes, they will be mine.

Talked to the guy who's selling these and he doesn't know a whole lot about what they are and is not willing yet to get any further information to help with the sale. Not worth the drive at that price with a seller not willing to be helpful.

If you are talking about the link in the first post of this thread, it works fine for me.

If you are talking about the pics posted by phocion they are still being displayed.
