    Default Wall mount speakers

I was debating on doing in wall speakers but have read alot of articles giving not so positive reviews. Now i'm leaning to wall mounted speakers. Ultimatley i would like to have everything off of my floor except the subwoofer. It just looks alot cleaner and spacious than having floor speakers taking up space. Anyone here try the polk OWM3 and OWM5 series? Just wondering how the sound quality would be for a 5.1 surround sound set-up.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Is there a reason you are not considering any other bookshelves? (I have LSi7's on wall mounts and they work great.
    Mains.............Polk LSi15 (Cherry)
    Center............Polk LSiC (Crossover upgraded)
Surrounds.......Polk LSi7 (Gloss Black - wood sides removed and crossovers upgraded)
    Subwoofers.....SVS 25-31 CS+ and PC+ (both 20hz tune)
    Pre\Pro...........NAD T163 (Modded with LM4562 opamps)
    Amplifier.........Cinepro 3k6 (6-channel, 500wpc@4ohms)

The Tsi100's are wall mountable with built in brackets and they are nice little speakers if you are on a tight budget (or even if you're not). IMO they would sound (and look) better than the OWM's. I happen to have 3 pair of them in cherry for sale here cheap:

I'm not leaning toward anything. Just saw these online and was wondering how they are. Plain and simple.

Another important factor to determine what kind of sound you can get is your budget.

What were you thinking of as far as cost on speakers and mounts?

I was looking to spend around 1200-1500 on all the speakers.

Look for a deal on Polk's ebay site for RTiA1s for fronts and rears, a CSiA4 or CSiA6, then the remainder on a good Internet Direct sub (Epik, Elemental Designs, HSU, etc).

But - that's just my internet expert armchair advice... :D
