    Default Power amp for Rti12

    Hello,
I own the Rti12 and very pleased of these set,
I have also the Yamaha 3900 receiver and both are sound great,

I would like to get more from the speakers in stereo and I am looking for a power amp,
I have an opportunity to purchase the Music Fidelity A5.5 with a good price,

Does anyone can recommend this integrated amp?
Is there any other power amp the can push the Rti12 in stereo mode?

    Thanks,

You could also add a seperate 2 channel amp to bring out the best of them. I'm partial to Parasound, Sunfire, & Rotel.

I had a Parasound 1500A & now my brother has it. Terrific amp.

Check with the owner of the Sunfire to see if it is 17" or 19" version depending on the space you are going to put it in.

I have a Sunfire 5chnl 405wpc amp, it makes all of my speakers sound great.

Buy the integrated, the pre-amplifier will be light years ahead of the AVR, using a straight amplifier will simply amplify a sub par pre-amp'd signal. The Yamaha is great for home theatre however.

Thats a sweet intergrated your looking to snatch pal. More than enough to drive RTI 12's. Seems like your about to fall head first into what we call the rabbit hole of audio.:)

Nice grab. I'll be shocked if you don't notice an immediate upgrade and probably not in the places you might think. Vocals will be light years better.

    +1

I'd also go with the Musical Fidelity, rather than getting an external amp to hook up to your AVR...especially if musicality is your concern here.

I have the MF A5 - the previous version of the A5.5 Integrated Amp.

Fantastic sounding integrated - and the HT bypass is sooo coool. Gobs of power.
