Default What movies do you wish you'd seen in a theater?

I just watched Avatar, man was I stupid for not seeing that one in the theaters.

It gave the sub a pretty good workout too.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

Avatar was better at home in 2-D for me than it was in 3-D in the theater. But go figure... My eye doc recently told me I can't see 3-D. :)

I wish I had seen UP in the theater... but the Blu-ray on a 100" screen probably isn't too far off from that experience anyway.

The only things I'd rather see in a theater than in the comfort of my own home would be comedies - you definitely laugh more when you're in a crowd of other people laughing.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Star Trek and Iron Man! I love watching them in my house, but could imagine that they would be awesome on a 70 foot screen!

Dude I can't see 3-D either! I thought I was the last of my kind. Likewise, I enjoyed Avatar more at home on Blu-Ray.

It's coming out in IMAX 3D theaters again the end of August because they are adding a whole 8 minutes to it. So I guess it'll be Avatar 1.1??? Plus 2.7 billion isn't enough money.

My home theater sounds "better" than being at the movie theater in mu opinion. Might be the more intimate setting. The pod races on star wars sound like they are right in the living room!

My home theater is better than their's because: I can smoke, watch the movie in my underwear, pause the movie for head calls, AND my SQ blows theirs away!

I think seeing some the classic movies, especially restored, on a big screen would be a great experience....

    Hitchcock movies
    James Bond movies
70s disaster movies (i.e. Towering Inferno, etc.)

I missed the latest Star Trek also..:(
Most people just listen to music and watch movies . I am glad to be a part of a select group that tries to take our auditory and visual senses to a higher level: we EXPERIENCE them.... GOT SDA?...GOT SUNFIRE? ...GOT Maggies?
