Good. Bad. I'm the guy with the gun.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore
Loved it and I saw it when it first came out. Evil Dead I was okay; Evil Dead II was great!!!
Duke Henry: You Sir, are not one of my vassals... who are you?
Ash: Who wants to know?
Duke Henry: I am Henry the Red. Duke of Shale, Lord of the Northlands and leader of its peoples.
Ash: Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things, right now: Jack and Schitt... and Jack left town.
McConcealerLo404 especially loved the quality special effects. Who needs 3D when you can have stunning visuals like this movie provides?

If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
Don't touch that please, your primitive intellect wouldn't understand alloys and compositions and things with... molecular structures.

Much like the Simpsons, it's funny how people can have an entire conversations just quoting Army of Darkness.
What the hell took you so long to see it? I have it on VHS somewhere, I should pick it up on DVD/BluRay sometime.
"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
VHS, DVD, now B-R and it's on every Halloween somewhere. Look up cult classic in the dictionary and you'll see Bruce Campbell and "Army of Darkness".

Also, don't get the directors edition DVD, it does not have the last scene where Ash goes back to S-Mart and fights the Shebitch. It just ends with him and the car in the cave. Very disappointing... :(
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
I think ED2 is in a class by itself, the camera work was so 60s Batman.
I couldn't wait for Army to hit the screens, saw it the first weekend.
I must say I was dissapointed, & I haven't seen it since.
Is it possible this movie has improved with age?
Should I see it again?
I experienced the exact same thing and didn't give it another chance for another two years. My problem was that I was expecting yet another variation or interpretation of Evil Dead - which, of course, this movie is not. It definitely stands on its own merit. And (as you can tell by this thread) is far more quotable. And that's a tall order...
In all fairness, Evil Dead II remains my favorite. The camerawork alone in the movie can compete with some of the best in the history of cinema. Hell... that tracking shot through the woods should be considered one of the top five shots of all time.
OK guys, you convinced me, I'm going to watch ARMY again.
that shot was dizzying, to say the least, but my favorite was when everyone & everything was laughing at Bruce.Hell... that tracking shot through the woods should be considered one of the top five shots of all time
