I assume you believe those people are retarded?

Most consider them to be heros.
    Point taken.

Though I'm gonna go ahead and guess that a douchebag who comes on here bragging about his altruistic nature and condescending to everyone is most likely not ever going to be considered a "hero."
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

:( Your post is not exactly a good vision of sharing ideas and agreeing to disagree. Your statement is somewhat inflamatory and this is not typical of you

....by the way!!! We are talking about the NEXT generation of cars. Cars that will have builtin electronic gizmos that wouldn't allow collisions....or at least cut down on them. Some sort of sensor that slows or stops a car when too close. If you can think it...it can be made.

Unfortunately it seems to be used only on some commercial vehicules (IE: buses). I guess it would hurt the average Joe car market a little too much to be mass produced and standard on all cars

Relying on electronics solely is however tricky, car must still be built according to safety standards and control to the driver is still a must at all times. Just look at ABS technology, all good as long as the system works. There is always the possibility of electronic failure just like mechanical ;)

I will say this, the very last thing I take into consideration when buy a car is mpg. I don't care how good or bad it is, makes no difference to me. I want style, reliability, safety, handling and so much more over mpg.

Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

    1) I never bragged about anything.

    2) I did not condescend to you nor to anyone else. I am sorry if my writing was too ambiguious to prevent you from thinking otherwise.

    7) I am not a "douchebag".

    2) My numbering is incorrect.

    6) I am aware that I am not altruistic. I am both selfish and ignorant; I am OK with those two facts.

    8) I don't intentionally make people sad. :(

    Please become happy!!! :D
