Bought a new Bike Today!

A Greenline extended low rider, no gears, pedal brake.

I bought the bike, pump, front & back lights, chain & lock, bottle holder & mirror for $402 after taxes but I asked Billy if he could take off a little bit because I'm buying a bunch of stuff and he took off $40!, so $362 after taxes!, He just bought himself a loyal customer!

Then I went home and I needed to adjust the seat and I tightened the quick-release seat post clamp a little too much and it cracked in half. I went back to the shop and He gave me a brand new $12.95 one off the shelf for free!

I want to change the seat. this one feels ok and it's nice and springy but I want something a little more retro.

It never hurt as a kid, but the first time I went out on a bike as an adult I thought I would never be able to walk & sit right ever again.

I have a sore butt everyday. Anything kind of hard surface like a subway seat hurts now because I've lost so much fat. It's crazy! I never would have thought that the subway seats would be so uncomfortable.

The current seat is pretty comfortable, It has springs, the lack of gears makes it difficult to go up streets that have an incline. You would not be able to do hills on this bike. This bike is made for laid back level surface riding.

Well I made it ok to McDonalds. I did however walk the bike across the 6 lane highway ;)
