I don't see John Gorka mentioned much but he is one of my favorite folk artists along with Lucy Kaplansky and David Wilcox. "Writing in the Margins" is the only one I'm missing.

A ton of great rock and jazz vinyl. As good as the rock titles are, the jazz titles are better but nobody here cares about that.
John Gorka is a fantastic artist. There are so few good basses and baritones. My favorite male folk singers are John Gorka, Mark Knopfler, and occasionally Don McLean or Richard Shindell. As for female folk singers, Amilia K. Spicer, Tift Merritt, and Margo Timmins (of the Cowboy Junkies) are all great.
Other new additions today (I've been borrowing CDs again) are as follows...
Neil Young -- After the Gold Rush; Lucky Thirteen; Decade; Prairie Wind; Rust Never Sleeps; Unplugged; Harvest Moon
Scorpions -- Crazy World
'Til Tuesday -- Welcome Home
R.E.M. -- Around the Sun
Genesis -- A Trick of the Tail (CD/SACD & DVD)
Genesis -- Abacab (CD/SACD & DVD)
Jessy J -- Tequila Moon
Sonya Kitchell -- Words Come Back To Me
Lissie -- Catching a Tiger

Tedeschi Trucks Band would give it 4.5/5. It's hard to represent this band in a cd format I would highly suggest downloading some of their live shows of bt.etree.org. However, this cd did not disappoint.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
"Green leaves reveal the heart spoken Khatru"- Jon Anderson

Sarah Jarosz "Song Up In Her Head"
If you like Allison Krauss you may like this. Good folk/bluegrassy music.
Also Peter Wolf "Sleepless", good songwriting. Both of these sound great on the SDA's and in the car.
There's not too many genre of music I don't like.... From JAMES BROWN to The Original WashBoard Band.

My latest are from Vienna Teng. I first heard Ms. Teng on a public TV program and just had to listen more. Her music has a jazzy / classical yet simple feel and includes a mix of traditional and Asian instruments. Her voice is sweet and captivating. Her lyrics are down to earth but thought provoking and haunting at times.
