That's their best recording, in terms of engineering quality, IMO. Some of the some songs are great, too. Funny lyrics.
Thanks for the tip. I picked up a copy for $5.99 locally. The recording quality is excellent and the music is quite enjoyable.

Well, I have never owned this album before on any format so I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it sounded very good...

I have two (US) copies of the original on licorice pizza; they sound fair, not great.
I, too, am very curious about the new release...

Some good, if wicked idiosyncratic, songs on that album - Smile Away, The Back Seat of My Car, Monkberry Moon Delight, e.g.
    all the best,

Is a fantastic album, it rocks...if you like powerful guitars and lyrics, similar but different to AC/DC, you'll love the album....

I bought a copy some years back at Mystery Train Records in Amherst (or is it Northampton?)... I've never listened to it. I really like her song One Big Love but I really don't care for the album (Red) from whence it came. I know that Living with Ghosts (which, if memory serves, was recorded as a demo in a bid to get her a recording contract) is supposed to be superb - which is why I bought it - but I just haven't had the gumption to even give it a try. I should, eh?
    all the best,
