Went to my local spin shack to the vinyl "just in" section. The usual stacks of Journey, Chicago, Air Supply etc... I get about half way through and all the sudden this gem pops up.

Very nice! It is a good one to listen to and mellow out.

I went to my favorite local record store today and bought some vinyl for the first time in many months... I have been looking for good copies of the 3 Pretenders albums (my 3 favorites of the band)... The 2 Natalie Cole LPs were still sealed, and the rest have all been on my wishlist for a long time... Then, I stopped in Best Buy to pick up the Eagles Blu-Ray release (been wishing for this one for a VERY long time)...

I don't have either the watts or the woofers to do the 1812 any sort of justice.

I have a 15 year old so I've been sampling the Dubstep scene (how's that for a really middle aged dude pining away for retirement?). So I bought the soundtrack to TRON: Legacy by Daft Punk. Have NOT seen the movie. But the soundtrack, not bad!
