Picked up a copy of the Rhino remaster from 1996. One helluva funk/R&B live album. I don't think this group ever got the props they deserved. Excellent performance and very well recorded live album. I'm not sure what the funk genre evolved into...but I rarely hear any new music that I would consider that has it's roots in funk...and that's a damn shame.

Bought both of these from thrift store, but was wondering is it common for the same LP's to have a different Center label..
Does this signify something good or bad is one copy better than the other, like different pressing or ??

The tan label UA is the earlier release, not the sunburst/clouds label.

    Thanks George..
Would there be a reason for the second release other than supply running low, like a defect of the first run?
    Thank You

Last few days. Hmm, Blues from Bonamassa, Jazz from Davis (both on Blu-ray) and Old Metal from Black Sabbath (my first SHM SACD). Guess my musical tastes are more varied lately than I thought.

Been looking for this one on vinyl in good shape (mint) for some time now. I found a seller on E-bay that has a lot of vinyl in mint condition, this one is in immaculate shape. I will be buying from him again.
