Dave Scher - Porch Talk. I heard him live in Austin and sounded great - very talented guitarist.

Keiko, on Shangri-La make sure you get the SACD. I ordered mine on the Dec. 23rd. What came in was the CD version. Because they were sold out of the SACD's I guess they make a substitution without my approval. Can't get them to response to my emails. Company is blowitoutahere.com

I simply detest and can't stand commercial radio anymore and for the last several years I'm listening to jazz88 San Diego which is all listener support.

I'm really getting to like jazz and blues.

Anyway last couple of weeks I heard some tunes that just got me toe tapping in the truck on the way back and forth to work.

Jazz saxophonist Hank Crawford's After Dark CD - the track "Git It!"
But the whole CD is good

And Dr John's The Best of the Parlophone Years - the track "I'm Going to Go Fishin' "

First albums from either artist - but ain't that cool?

H9: If you don't trust what you are hearing, then maybe you need to be less invested in a hobby which all the pleasure comes from listening to music.
