    Default Room Treatments

So the last couple of weeks I've been putting together some room treatments.

Just have a question though, maybe dumb but want to ask. Does the cloth that I would use for the treatments really matter? I ask as seeing in DK's thread he used speaker grills and it worked for him, however at our local places I haven't found any cloth that would be comparable to that type/feel.

Is there a certain "kind" I should look for like a brand?

From what i understand, the less "dense" the fabric (looser the weave, the better) the better it will work. It's not the fabric that's trapping the frequencies.

Eh, it's all good broseph. :p

I don't remember a specific brand being mentioned, though.

I'd just go to JoAnn Fabrics and get some cloth you can see through. Nice loose, coarse fabric.

I remember polyester being a good choice. I just can't remember where it was tested.
