    Default Sound Advance Speaker Tile

Has anybody here tried the Sound Advance Speaker Tiles?
They are on blowout for $28 / pair at PE.

I'm considering getting a pair to put in my basement in an arts and crafts area where I can't wall mount speakers or place on stands or bookshelves. And certainly not going to be a dedicated listening area-just simple background music for the kids while they are working or playing.

Basically just looking to see if they are complete garbage or at least worth the $28.
And can I run these from a typical AVR? Or do these require a ProAudio type amp?

DO NOT run these with your AVR in the default 70.7 V setting. You must change each of the tiles to the 8-ohm setting BEFORE connecting them to an AVR. Otherwise, sparks will fly

Front projection, 2 channel, car audio... life is good!
