Too bad the wheels aren't magnesium, would have made the ending better.

As far as precision driving goes, that was amazing! I had to turn the sound off though, because the car sounds like ass. I had a lawnmower that sounded more manly.

Haha, "manly." I'd love to see you try that in a so-called "manly" car. A corvette would be a burned out shell within 45 seconds.

Oh come on, it wasn't nearly that bad.

It's amazing to me that an engine as high-strung as I'm sure that one is can handle that much constant abuse, just sitting at redline so much of the time. And I guess that really goes for just about any motorsport.

    Amazing skills, for sure.

Ken Block is an amazing driver. Look for the clip of him on Top Gear with James May in the passenger seat.

However, the OP video was not done in one take. There are several occasions where they show a shot from a camera that isn't physically there in the next shot.
    Ludicrous gibs!

It's capable of much more , but purposely limited to get him where he has peak controllability...he only needs 4K RPM for that 660 ft lb of torque...

" Built by Olsbergs Motorsport Evolution (MSE), the 2,425-pound Gymkhana THREE Fiesta sports a purpose-built Olsbergs engine capable of up to 850 brake horsepower, but is restricted to 650 horsepower in order to give Block the torque band he needs to control the car. Equipped with an Olsbergs MSE Maktrak (magnesium) six-speed paddle-shift sequential transmission, it is capable of 660 lb.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm and needs a mere two seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph. "

....wouldnt that be a blast on someone elses dime. :D

Is that a shift light on the dash? You know, a light that tells the driver when it's best to upshift.

I assumed, based on the sound of the engine when the light was on, that it was some sort of indication that you had hit the rev limiter.

an outboard shift light is always better than the OEM one. It's more precise and tuned into the engine management. Just like an outboard tach...

You can use it as a tax write off. But I also expect any money you get on your tax write off. In which you can write that off as well, rinse and repeat.
