I've heard nothing but good things about their products. I just haven't been gaming on the pc much lately, so haven't tried them out. Will there be a review when you get it?

Sure I'll make up a review. I like the lighted keys the best I think and the usb connection on the keyboard. Very handy

I have this one I got from woot.com for <$50 shipped and I love it. The keystroke is half way between a regular keyboard and a laptop...perfect combination IMO. Also backlit, which was a must. love it.

Has anyone reviewed yet? I'm curious as to which mechanical switches they decided to use. I dislike Cherry's prices and irregular layouts (ie: missing numpad or non-IBM layout).

Just got my New Keyboard today. The Razer Black Widow Ultimate Elite.

Really nice keyboard. Very heavy, haven't felt a keyboard that weighed this much in over 20 years.

I just wish they made a cordless keyboard like this. Yes, I know it would fly through batteries, but my 'executive' type desk layout makes a corded keyboard pretty much impossible unless I wanted to put the tower down underneath, which I don't like. For now, I'll keep on with the MX3000.

It's a really Great keyboard, I was very upset with them because it took 3 months to get but it's well worth it. It feels great typing.

It's so heavy and stays put on your desk. The cord that comes out of it is really think, like 1/4" and it has a braided casing. At the end of the cord are 4 connections. Two USB and (2) 1/8" stereo plugs, one for your headphones and one for you mic.

I have mine hooked up to a KVM and so I am not using the two 1/8 plugs. One USB is plugged into my KVM and the other is plugged into my main PC. The 2nd usb is so that you can use the USB connection that is on the side of the keyboard.

You need to get one of these, I added so many of these to my client's desks:

They also have ones with ipod docks and usb hubs built-in

my brother bought a razer keyboard years ago and never had any problems... I could never get myself into razer though, the lack of bluetooth is something I can't stand since I usually am using a tv or something as a monitor.

I have a great story about Razer tech support.

One morning in January I woke up at my computer desk and I noticed that while I was sleeping a knocked over a glass of milk and half of it was split into the keyboard!!!! :(

I quickly got up and grabbed a shop vac and vacuumed out all the milk. I shook it around like crazy and let it dry upside down. The next day I plugged it in and it worked perfectly fine!!! Yes!!! Razer Rocks!!!!

    Fast forward 4 days.......and guess what?.....yep....you guessed it!!!!!......I did it again!!!!!!!...arrrggghh!!!!!!!!

So this time I did the same thing and no matter what i tried the V key was dead :(

The good thing is that this keyboard was programmble and so programmed the capslock key to be the V key. It was very strange. In many of my typings I was missing the letter V! lol

So i emailed Razer. I played dumb at first. I just told them my V key is not working. They had me go through all these steps to test out the keyboard. Update the firmware. Update their software that was installed on my PC. I tried it on a laptop and two other PC and we came to the conclusion that the V key was dead.

My intention was not to take advantage of Razer. I planned on telling them that milk was spilt. And so i said "My son split milk on the keyboard and he just confessed" ok, that is a lie. I was the one who did it. I really did not want to spend another $141 to buy another Black Widow Ultimate 1 month later :(

I waited for a few days for a response and then it came. They sent an email that I should send it back because they were going to replace it!!!

And right now I have my Brand New Razor Black Widow Ultimate!!!

    Thank You Razer Tech Support!!!!

    I Love this Keyboard!!!

I might have to buy another one!!

And now I found it on the web for $96!!!!

    Buy one today!!! It's AWESOME!!!

They knew it was you, and they knew all along...haha.

When I was working for a car electronics store, we would get people all the time "yeah, my buddy installed it" or "my buddy was playing with it" and ended with "and now it doesnt work"

More than half the time, after talking to them about different stuff...there was no buddy...and we all knew...

Good to know they took care of you though. I have a Razer Lycosa keyboard. I can tell you, I never want to go back to keyboard that isnt lit up for personal use. And that goes for any future laptops as well.

I love the keystroke of this keyboard as well. Its about mid-way between laptop and full size, which is the perfect combination for me. It took me a couple weeks to get used to but I can type much faster on this keyboard than I ever could with a full-length key stroke.

I wish they made a portable version of this keyboard. Without the num pad, without the Macro keys, get rid of the Function keys. Make them accessible by an fn key. So that I can take it with me. In a fold-down hard shell that I can slip into my computer bag. Then wherever I go I will have a Razer with me!
