    Default Anybody CnC machine?

Well, I'm working with Ben to have my CRS's upgraded to one tweeter, going to do the 198's. I'm most likely going to do a whole restore on the speakers, different vinear, new IC, and dynomat. What I'd like to have for my 'dead tweeter' is a machined CnC plate that matches the look of the 198's. I really think this would set off the look, and make them stand apart. Has anybody done this/seen this done? May have to powder coat them as well from the looks. This won't be a MUST for my upgrade, but I'd like to have it done.

Why not see if anyone has a dead 198 you can use? Or open a new hole in the center for the one 198 and fill the other two holes and re-veneer the speaker face?

Joe, I want to make sure I'm reading you right. Do you have photos of this? I have my doubts about adding another hole and filling the other one. My vision was a matching black plate with 'Polk Audio' engraved into it, perhaps with model, and serial number, etc... However, I would like to see how yours turned out. Thanks.

I would build a new baffle out of maple or another nice wood instead.
