I love how music can brighten up a bad day.
Not a bad price especially since Reno Hi-Fi is one of the leading Pass Labs dealers. Extra piece of mind knowing that it was gone through by them and still has some warranty left. Even though you probably won't need it.
The original Aleph series *can* be a little finicky, as in they have lower input impedance, mating up with some pre-amps. Not a big deal at all but something to think about. It will also put out a lot of heat so if it's in a smallish room or run on hot summer day expect it to raise room temp. My Aleph 30 raises my living room temp by about 4* in a 24hr period.
Single ended with only 2 gain stages. If you haven't read the owners manual, please do it goes into a lot of detail about the amp and NP's philosophy about the design, etc.

I say go for it, they are really, really nice natural sounding amps. There's definitely magic in that cube!!!

"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. I'm not looking for another amp right now but I know there are a lot of Pass Lab fans around.
