    Default Sound Bar 3000 connectivity problem. Please help.

    Got a sound bar last night for the guest bedroom and cannot get it to work? I plugged it in, plugged in the sub and connected the optical cable from the tv to the sound bar, but nothing? In the guest bedroom there is a Sharp Aquos and a PS3 using an HDMI cable. The speaker has power and is making a static sound when turned up but nothing else in any of the "source" modes 1-3. Please help a noob out. Thanks!

    Have you turned the optical output on for your tv?
