I picked up a 1602 today and I would like to not mess it up.
The suspension is super bouncy and I'm scared I might ruin the cart (like I did meat fisting an Adcom hc/E II not to long ago)
Any advice on this table would be much appreciated.

Baby Einstein has never sounded so good.
Suspension in my TX-2 (tangential) is pretty light. The swingin' arm on your 1602 is very low mass; the cartridge high compliance. Should be OK.
{gratuitous and pointless TX-2 photo}
