I've given it all I can, the game F@$%^$ Sucks, plain and simple. Its pathetic, slow, and lacks creativity compared anyting much less what has come before. For the develpoers who are smar and left, please creat a game soon!!!

IMO, the only CoD games that suck are the ones that were made by Treyarch and not Infinity Ward -- such as the latest, Black Ops. Although, from here on out I suspect both will suck since the heads of Infinity Ward were fired and many associates left with them. They're at EA now under Respawn Entertainment. Probably going to be a while before we see anything from them since they're starting from scratch. I bet it'll be great, though, since EA is (currently) given them much more control, which Activision didn't.

I hate to say it... but Black Ops is really good. Up until now, I would have agreed with you, Demiurge (and I'm looking forward to seeing what Respawn does). But I honestly think the single player campaign in Black Ops is the best of the CoD series, the multiplayer is surprisingly solid (though it isn't without issues), and the inclusion of both the zombie mode and the hidden top-down DOA game make Black Ops one of the best values in gaming since The Orange Box.

I do think the CoD series is going to get pimped out by Activision until it sucks completely, but Black Ops has turned out to be a huge surprise for me. Kudos to Treyarch for finally making one on the same level as Infinity Ward.

Hopefully black ops gets better, but two levels into it I'd say MW was better.

It helps that they had David Goyer as a story consultant, and that they've got some decent voice acting this time. Modern Warfare 1&2 were never exactly lauded for their stories, and both games had presentation issues. Black Ops at least presents a concrete narrative that you can follow. Hell, after playing through the whole thing, I think the test is that I would totally watch that plot as a movie.

Ive got a buddy that changed his name to Myche based on the band Queensryche. As much as I hate "creative" name spellings, I admit to thinking that one is pretty cool.

The dumbest one was a chick I worked with named Kristy. She spelled it Kryste. So we just called her Christ.

As for the actual topic: a lot of people seem to trash CoD, even the new one. I havent played them yet (because they wont come down from $60!) so I cant say one way or the other but gawdamighty there are a lot of people buying them. Black Ops made $360,000,000 in ONE DAY!!! Jesus Murphy! Thats more than any movie makes (that I know of anyway). MW2 made $500,000,000 in the first week.

But then again, Britney Spears sells millions of albums too so that doesnt necessarily prove something is good.

I like the britney spears comparison, says a lot about the game actually, but the online game still sucks regardless!! The campaign is ok and thats really the only good thing about the game, never again though will i buy it!!! They lost me but i guess they got the unsespecting kids and pathetic so called parents of the kids who buy it for them. just my humble opinion.

i'll admit, i'm not AS drawn to it the way i was feenin' over the first modern warfare, but that's just because i'm getting tired of video games in general (which i'm sure many old farts are thinking should be the case). if we were all online like before, i'd have to say i like this one better than its predecessors.
