    I have never seen them.

Depends on how handy you are with an iron.

They aren't the most complicated XO's to do.

    Welcome to Club Polk.

Generally, you will need to remove the existing crossover boards from your cabinets and send them out (ben62670 is one good option) or do it yourself if you are even medium handy with a soldering iron.

I think Monitor 10's take a 34uf capacitor for the low pass and a couple of 12uf's for the high pass with a couple of resistors from .5 to 2.7 ohms depending upon the exact model. Many also remove the polyswitch and replace it with the appropriate value resistor.

A variety of affordable resistor brands can be used with Mills and Mundorf being favored by many, and Sonicap, Solen, Dayton, etc. capacitors appropriate for the low pass. The 12uf Capacitors used in the high pass section are where you can spend the dollars and really hear the difference if you wish with Sonicaps at a minimum. You can read up on expensive esoteric caps at http://www.humblehomemadehifi.com/Cap.html. If you don't go with Sonicaps (97% of the best sound available for about 1/6 or less the price) you might consider some of the Mundorf oil filled caps.

Most feel that you'll get the best sound quality if you upgrade the stock tweeter to the RDO198-1 and make the appropriate resistor substitution. 198's are available directly from Polk for about $50 each.

All of the Monitor 10 schematics, including the modification to use the SL3000/RDO198-1, can be found in Adobe Acrobat pdf format in post #1 at . . .

After you get crossover fever settled down, you can also search the forum for Mortite, Cardas Binding Posts and Larry's (ToolForLifeFan) Rings.

Oh, did I forget to say, "get out your wallet and get ready for a nice trip down the rabbit hole . . ."

If you order the RDO198-1 tweeters from Polk, be sure to tell them that you're a forum member. I just purchased some of these for $42 each, which I think was a 20% discount off of list.

refer to "schematic_m10_sl3000mod.pdf" posted at http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38755. In my book, that's the way to go if you have a "keeper" pair of M10's

Alas.....with my form of dyslexia, schematics are indecipherable for me. I always leave circuitry to others !

(except house wiring, that I can do )
