    Default Pretty cool speakers

I was just looking through Popular Science and came across these speakers.

Rather interesting speakers. They screw into existing light fixtures, they are wireless and they actually have a working light in them.

Not sure they are the greatest sounding speakers but a pretty cool idea. 15 minutes you have have in ceiling speakers.

    Check it out.

    Very good idea.

Not sure about the sound quality of such but definitely a clever idea

I'd heard about them before but finally got a chance to check them out last week at a hifi show. They are nicely done and look great and all but its not the route to take if sound quality is what your looking for. Very convenient option though.

I read about it in one of my latest Sound & Vision copies, plenty of praises, but the con was the light would have to be on when you play the speakers. The S&V reviewer said he'd like to have Klipsch fix that in future version

Wow, they must have a high "Wife Approval Factor" because it looks like the the lady of the house in the images on the website (http://www.klipsch.com/na-nl/product...ystem-reviews/) is able to do it herself with a stepladder in a short skirt, slinky blouse and 6" heels (with makeup and earrings too)!

You could always just install a dimmer switch.

Inspired, that's not the lady of the house; that's the Klipsch Installation Service Technician who comes out to your house for factory installation purposes.
Something to do with finding the right sweetspot.

Why do you think they cost $599 ?

Cool idea, a step away from the Klipschorn to be sure. Would be interesting to hear these and see the results of Klipsch's technology.

Interesting product. Don't like it needs to be on to work as the remote can dim, I think it could be turn off then also.

Yes and I just love the one foot raised off of the stepladder. I need to speak to KAB about the Polk marketing plan.
