    Default amp for TC65i

Looking at the specs for the in-wall TC65i, it is 8 ohms with suggested power 10 - 125 watts. With that in mind, would using my existing Sunfire 5x200 amp to drive these be overkill?

You'll be fine, you'll just have plenty of headroom!

It's underpowering that one should worry about. If you give your speakers all the clean, high-current power they can handle, they'll drive you out of your listening room because they will be very loud. Pretty hard to overpower a speaker without damaging your hearing honestly.
