Oppo BDP 93 now available

and the price is $499.
I'm hoping that this will entice some current BDP-83 owners to sell and upgrade at a decent price since I'm looking for one. I just don't get how the 83's have been selling on Ebay for such prices....am I missing something here that the 83's are selling used for $400+?

a guess would be just "supply & demand"....Now that the 93 has hit the street, the price on the 83's should drop unless there are glitches with the 93. Unlikely, Oppo as I'm sure you know isn't your average manufacturer.
