Jesus CHREE-ICED guys. What the heck am I supposed to do?

Now I'm going to George peeved at me again, and wangotango peeved at me... It's like gang up on Micah and the Polk Forum week.

This is no place to get into it like that, man. You guys HAVE TO KNOW THAT somewhere deep down inside. I understand BOTH SIDES, and I understand both MOTIVATIONS, but you simply can't get on to a semi-public forum and bang each other around like that, even if it ostensibly is for the good of others.

Please, please keep it private. Keep this forum FUN. Have problems, settle em privately.

This is about audio. This is about movies and fun stuff like games and speakers and even some girl-talk thrown in just to keep it spicy. But nasty posts and slander and arguements have got to stop.

I met Scott (Wangotango) personally at his house and he seems like a nice enough guy. The Monitor 10's I bought from him were pretty much as he described and I purchased them at the agreed upon price (cash & carry). I'm not saying he's perfect... just that he is a genuine Polk & Carver audio nut. I give Scott 3 out of 4 stars for integrity.

Now, Hoosier21 (Russ)... he solidly deserves a 4 star rating. Russ solidly stood behind the sale of a set of CRS's (resolving
a subtle-like defective tweeter problem at considerable expense).

I'm SO NOT interested in blamestorming here.

I'm interested in making sure that everyone has a fun time on the Polk forum, and keeps coming back and posting funny cool interesting informative stuff.

Had a bad experience? Deal with it without personal attacks and slander, or deal with it in private. Thinking of buying something from someone on the forum flea market? Do your homework, call them, email them. Just like any other online or eBay deal. Be an intelligent buyer and you're less likely to have anything to complain about. I think we're all good eggs here. A bad experience is something that should be addressed. But it's gotta be tasteful, or it's gotta be in private.

Sorry for being a prick about this, but if everyone doesn't start getting along and having fun again, I'm going to start slapping people.
