    Default Problem with new PSW110

I just got a PSW 110, and I've never had a subwoofer before. I have hooked it up to a new Yamaha receiver RX-V667. It works, but seems to 'click' on and off. I can see the green light go off occasionally. It goes out for just a second, and then clicks back on and works again

This occurs when it is connected to the receiver and when it is not attached to anything. It happens in AUTO and ON modes.

I have one line connected to LFE and to the sub out of the receiver, but as I mentioned, it happens even when unplugged.

Is it just a bum unit? I hate to have to pay to ship it back to Polk!

    Any help?

I would first try a different AC outlet...

tried that, no difference. Still pops and clicks with the light flickering.

Then contact Polk CS as it seems ther is some cold solder joints in the power supply.

If it happens in the "ON" mode, there is definitely an issue with the amp in the sub.
