Default Happy Mew Year MSB Stage-Pass CD Karma

It's simply one of my favorite albums of all time, probably because Michael Stanley is a hometown favorite, played softball with my buddies, and I was cutting class to be in the Agora Ballroom crowd on the first (October 22, 1976) of 3 days of recording this masterpiece.

MSB was huge in Northeast Ohio, popular in areas of the East and West Coasts and just a few points in-between, but never quite gained full traction. Michael is a talented, consummate showman, and perhaps only the 3rd or 4th-most talented member of the band, but this CD puts forth their very best efforts.

I wish I could Karma the LP version as the sound quality is better than this CD version (still good, though), but I only have one closely guarded vinyl LP set in pristine condition.

    This CD is still shrink-wrapped

    THE RULES:
-- Member for more than 365 days.
-- Not on my extremely short ignore list
-- Let me know you are In
-- Tell me if you would rather be the Stage-Pass or the Kitten in the image below, and WHY (let's get creative here, but within bounds)

-- I'll use a random number generator to pick the winning post number somewhere around the 15th of January with a "last call" post a day or 2 before.

Good luck and Happy Mew Year !! (Yeah, now you get the "typo")

P.S.: "So Close to Heaven" image credit goes to DK as I pirated it from one of his clean power threads.

I'm in, and I'd rather be the stage pass. At least I can pretend that's my wife, because my wife would NEVER have a kitty where that kitty is...she's allergic :)

Ditto... pretty fine recording for its day... even moreso given that's it's Live.

Got it last night, came home let it rip while I was changing from work. Sat down for a listen. So far I enjoyed the first 3 songs. This could turn out to be a wonderful relationship with a new band. Thanks IS!!
