It's simply one of my favorite albums of all time, probably because Michael Stanley is a hometown favorite, played softball with my buddies, and I was cutting class to be in the Agora Ballroom crowd on the first (October 22, 1976) of 3 days of recording this masterpiece.
MSB was huge in Northeast Ohio, popular in areas of the East and West Coasts and just a few points in-between, but never quite gained full traction. Michael is a talented, consummate showman, and perhaps only the 3rd or 4th-most talented member of the band, but this CD puts forth their very best efforts.
I wish I could Karma the LP version as the sound quality is better than this CD version (still good, though), but I only have one closely guarded vinyl LP set in pristine condition.
This CD is still shrink-wrapped

Good luck and Happy Mew Year !! (Yeah, now you get the "typo")
P.S.: "So Close to Heaven" image credit goes to DK as I pirated it from one of his clean power threads.
