If I had your massive amounts of cash reserves farmboy, I would buy some Oyaide C-004 power connectors, and the R1 receptacle to go with them!

If the funds were available I'd be looking for a Dodd Audio Battery Preamp, a pair of Bryston 7b-sst Monoblocks, and a pair of Tyler Acoustics Decade D20.

I would add 2-4 more Classe monoblock amps and the B&W nautilus speakers. This system will pull double duty going between 2 channel and HT use.

Its too early in the New Year ! I figure I'll wait until late Feb or early March when we have all had enough of winter and are feeling a little extra grouchy.

Oh, I've had a few months to think about this....

First of all...since I have to replace the old RPTV dinosaur in the living room...a new flat panel TV is in the immediate future when I get back to the states. I've also been thinking about HT a LOT lately. It's been about 6 years since I dismantled the HT rig. I've still got the Vandy's so I'm thinking a Vandy VCC-1 to go with the 2Ci's.....and a sub, the new Polk subs look like the shiznit. So, full on 5.1 surround is in the works.

For 2ch. Phew. Man, I dunno. What have I been looking at? Well, at this point, I'm unlikely to make any radical changes. What I'd LIKE to have? I'd like a pair of Manley Snapper monoblocks...I look for those a LOT. What I'd REALLY like to have? A pair of CJ Premier 8 monoblocks....or a Premier 4 Stereo amp. With that, a Premier 10 preamp. That combo gives me a woody. Just something about CJ has always done it for me.

Also, I do look for and MF Tri-Vista to pop up....one of my biggest hifi moments was listening to F1's MF gear....oh, about 10 years ago. I remember plain as day listening to Steely Dan's 'Hey Ninteen'. While he was out COLD in his chair.

    So, we'll see.

I ALWAYS use an ass-gasket. Never hover because of splash down and back splatter. I also float landing pad made from TP for a soft landing to avoid the above. One can never be too cautious when dealing with the general public. - RonP
