    Default Thanks everyone

I've been trolling for about 2 months trying to figure out a budget system (I'm a recent college graduate trying to get into graduate school). First, I received an Onkyo TX-NR708 as a graduation gift. Then after a ton of reading, saving pennies, and sweet talking the wife, I ended up with a pair of RTi6, RTi4, CSi3, and a PSW505. With all the holiday sales which included free shipping and zero tax (Crutchfield and Newegg), I feel like I got this system at an awesome price.

Thanks everybody for posting knowledgeable information so fools like myself can make better decisions.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

    Welcome to Club Polk!!

That's a lot like my second system, except I run it off an older Denon AVR 2807. It's a great value for the money system. Can't see how you could do much better at the price point.

Enjoy and stick around. We'll get you to spend some more money. Speaking about Newegg deals...I just picked up a Yammie integrated for next to nothing on one of their specials and it's not bad for a smaller room. They're giving some stuff away these days!

Welcome to Club Polk. Enjoy the music.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

Welcome, and don't be shy, jump in where you want to. Also don't think of yourself as a fool for any sort of lack of knowledge, you have to start somewhere, and you couldn't have picked a better forum to do so. Enjoy the tunes, and put a padlock on your wallet.

Fools don't ask for help or ask questions to gain more knowlege.

That's great you were thrifty in your spending to get what you did. Now keep that up and you'll do fine.

    Welcome to the club.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies . I am glad to be a part of a select group that tries to take our auditory and visual senses to a higher level: we EXPERIENCE them.... GOT SDA?...GOT SUNFIRE? ...GOT Maggies?
