I think some of you need to lay off the coffee a bit, the (pre)review appeared pretty positive to me; sans the marketing digs.

You should see the picture of him on his "profile" over there.
As far as the LSiM's go, at Polkfest they were impressive. And HEAVY too! They needed some work in the crossover department but Al even said they hadn't finalized it yet. I would love to be at CES to hear them now. But overall, if teh crossovers were sorted out to tame some of the anomalies in the very high end and that midrange hump, they are very good speakers. No, strike that, they are GREAT speakers.
So much so that I immediately started seriously considering unloading my Amazings and replacing them with LSiMs. So there may be another pair of Amazings up for grabs in the near future.
You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you!
He has a "used car salesman" look.

The new LSi's at PolkFest were very impressive! Even though the x-overs weren't sorted out yet you could still get a feel for what they were capable of. I'm hoping it becomes a very successful product upgrade for Polk.
So Audioholics took what was probably a press release from Polk and did the old "put lipstick on a pig" and turned it into an "overview" of a new product, and made editorial comments without ever really experiencing the product. I wouldn't expect anything more from the "National Enquirer" of audio websites.

That's what it looked like to me, a press release that was massaged a bit.
