I've never understood why there's a need for a thread when someone gets banned. 99% of the time it was a SPAM snag, historically and shouldn't it mainly be the actual members' issue to look into it?

And it's already fixed....good lord.

These mistakes have been happening a lot due to the spammers. Not exactly a new or secret issue and it always gets resolved.

I had no clue a spammer could Ban somebody. Interesting. I thought the man got banned. It is just a bit sad to see all of the trolls have freedom here and then somebody like George get banned (so I thought and over reacted).

A spammer can't ban someone, but when the powers that be have to ban 50 spammers a day, sometimes real people get caught in the mix, briefly and accidentally.

Yup, happened to me a while back. I was lumped in with a spammer.

I had to start a thread though. My account was banned on a Sat. and it wasn't corrected until Tuesday. The mods didn't respond to my PM's.

PM is an awful way to get help from moderators on weekends and the only one that might come on is Kenneth, maybe NAP. I get a LOT of PMs to the point that I hate them for the most part. If you sent it to me and I missed it, at that time, sorry but if there's nothing I can do, it's usually deleted. Some of it also has to be double checked in case there was an actual reason, and if the thread is locked or gone it's almost impossible to find out why until emails go out Monday. It's always a moderators fault here and I'm sure you didn't lose any sleep over a few days Max....they're only human.

I discovered this thing called a family. I knew I had one but I didn't realize how great they were.
