A pocket screw jig, yes. I have used one before in my father-in-laws wood shop. Not this same one. But they work great.

Those things are great. Even the cheap $20 versions work well enough depending on what you're doing.

I bought the K3MS K3 Master Kit http://www.amazon.com/Kreg-K3MS-Mast.../dp/B0009VD03Y when we were building our house. I have used most of the jigs. I am sold on their utility. Don't forget the nice furniture clamps. You need to hold them in place while putting the screws in and or gluing.

Yeah they had a bunch of clamps and I wasnt really sure what to buy yet. I have some already. Just standard ones.

I bought this guide they have that allows you to cut a straight line while using your circular saw. And I bought some of their screws. I got the $99 kit. The one you got was sold out. I didn't even think to check elsewhere. Oh well.
