    Default I've got a fever... and the only perscription... is more gear!

    So I want to start getting into the serious gear. After talking with a close friend, he recommended the Marantz AV7005 and Marantz MM7055. I would be driving my whole HT setup with this gear. The amp isn't rated at 4Ω though, only 8Ω and 6Ω. I don't want to ruin my gear or my speakers. I've got a feeling I should be looking for a different amplifier or completely different combo. All of you big shots out there with your high-end gear, give me some insight. I'm trying to keep my budget at/under $2500.

    yep,, it's the season for upgradeitis,,, there may be a pandemic this year.
