Ok well i was taking a break from the board but couldn't resist this post..

All the SVS sub hype bit me, I just ordered a PB1-ISD Tan granite.. I can't wait to get it.. basic black was back ordered and my wife liked the Tan granite and she is into this stuff almost as much as me,

So it should ship tomorrow and be here next week,, I will update when it gets here and with pictures...

I got some money off the color upgrade.. paid the same as the basic black with no wait.. so i ran with it.. It will be an eye catcher for sure but my friends don't have a clue much about HT, so they will be like, what is that Plus i gotta help get the colors out in the market..

nah, It wouldnt have matched the country theme ie:green/pink and wood going on in the living room.. The guy on the phone even said he didn't care for the gold.. alittle to modern for us..

The 20-39PCi and the PB-1 will perform nearly identically from about 22-23hz and up…under that and the 20-39PCi will have a very slight edge. In your room, both of these options will extend down to the 16-18hz range, providing a clean 112-118dBs of output.(very low and very loud). Good deal.. have you considered the box svs's?? I was reading on their site, the tube weighs in at 55 lbs, and the Pb1 is 78lbs.. alot heavier... Both great subs (from what ive heard) But i choose the traditional for looks mostly.. and then went a step further and tried the new colors as well.. I can't wait.. its killing me really.. i hope its all i think it is and more.. I know it will be, Some smart people on this board have them and notice the difference and i take their words of knowledge to heart with this purchase.. Because to be Honest this is a large purchase for us for one speaker.. besides buying our Avr that is..

Consider the LFE section of your HT *done*, there is really nothing else you could do to improve it, at ANY price.

A. Subsonic response
B. >110db useable output

End of story.

is 40 bucks to little for a good cable?? my AR cable was like 4 bucks new at the flea market. So i figured i could afford 30-40 bucks.. if its not then it will be later.. after i recover from the sub purchase,

Signal Cable makes a sub cable that you may have tailored to an exact length. $25/ 2ft standard + $5/ each addt'l 2 ft. Just a thought.

$25 for the first 2 foot and $5 extra for each foot after 2?? is that what i read, could end up pretty costly as the sub is about 8-10 foot from the avr.. Thanks for the suggestion though.. or was that 2 meter..

edit, i went to the website.. 25 for 2 foot +5 for every 2 foot afterwards, IE: 10 foot = $45.00 not to bad.. Thanks doro..

I edited it, yea typo on my part. The MIT is a very nice cable also.

Frank(Signal) mentioned that they did some tests against the Monster M or Z series sub cable and crushed it. Not bad for an essentially homegrown cable.
