    Default CTHDWPET

Cook the Hot Dog with pure electricity test.

We did this in high school physics.

Take a standard 16g. electrical cord, prong intact. Strip to the wire on each side, wrap each wire around a standard metal fork, slide the prongs of each fork into the respective ends of a standard Hot Dog. You may use an All Beef Weiner, or any sub-weenie such as those labeled Chicken Pork Lips Roadkill.

Plug the cord into a standard 120v wall outlet and watch the weenie. Have a bun ready.

The weenie will get hot, having served essentially as a resistor. You will have cooked your weenie with pure.. as pure as the power provided by your local regulated electric utility or rural electric Cooperative. Enjoy.

Don't touch the weenie as it is cooking. Don't attach the wires to your own weenie. Don't grab the ends of the wires in your hands. Don't throw the weenie at a loved one as it is cooking. Don't attempt to eat the weenie if it is still attached to the wall outlet.
HT: Denon 1910, LG blu-ray, Def Tech ProCinema 100s, Stryke 12" sonosub.
LR: Onkyo TX-84 (original owner), Aiwa AD-F850 (original owner), Philips TT (old school, 2nd owner), Philips CD (cheap-o), Monitor 5jr+ (original owner - actually, my wife is the original owner; she bought them new when we were dating - sealed the deal).
Xbox 360/Wii/Kids: Old school huge Sony HD TV, Sherwood RD-6500, Philips DVD, pair Def Tech ProCinema 100.

Those are all great links, LOL

We should ask PJ to try the hotdog cooking test with a cord that has been plugged into his new Monster Cable 7000....this would have pure, filtered 120 volts right??

You may wish to use a Magic Power Cable on the hot dog to accelerate cooking times.
