Default MIT Shotgun S3 or CVT Terminator 1?

I picked up some CVT Terminator 1 ICs and have a set of the original Shotgun S3 ICs....which do think would make for the better source to amp IC (Marantz SA-KI Pearl SACD to Musical Fidelity A5 Int Amp)?

    Whatever sounds better to you.

FYI, I'm not sure if both could be mixed in the same signal chain. AVt MA's and Shotgun S2's in series before and after my preamp gave some odd results.

It would be either or between the two.

Marantz --> ICs --> Musical Fidelity --> Shotgun S2 speaker cables --> Speakers

I suppose on paper having a 100% "Shotgun Loom" sounds right, but the CVT Terminator 1 sits higher up over the original Shotgun S3.

Oh well...guess I have a sound project to look forward to!

    Comments still welcomed though.

I agree, the MIT demo going around was the CVT T1's and they sound different than my T2's and I assume they sound different (probably to a lesser degree) with the Shotgun Series as well.

    Just experiment
