    Default Woofer Cooker

ALMOST fried my sub woofer today...

Don't try this at home kids. I did - and my sub was turned up a bit little too much.

Its was only the PSW111 in a 12'x12' room but Holy crap. Everything was vibrating...windows/walls/pictures. S@#t was shaking.

    Play at your own risk.

Yeah, I'll bet that track destroys woofers. It's way over boosted to the point where the signal source is clipping. The Amazings I have had no problem with it but I couldn't turn up real far at all because it would start clipping. I wouldn't run that track on any equipment now that I know what it is.

Had some impressive low end though. The 12" woofers were hoppin' pretty good and the stuff on the other side of the house was rattling.

Here's a cleaner version. Your PSW111 shouldn't have any problem with it. It digs deep though. Meter was showing a lower end response in the teens. It's a fun track though!

You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you!

Wouldn't you rather play music instead of that, whatever it was?
No matter how lost you are.......music can bring you home. (there are a few exceptions, however)

Thanks John. I can't believe the PWS111 can put out that much bass. I only played it for a minuet or so. I haven't tried it on my PSW1200 yet. I don't want to break things.
