    Default 12" grill for 10"sub?

    I have a Polk DXi104 that I want to put a grill on. I just don't really want to mount it to the top of the sub.
    Can a 12" grill mounted to the box around the sub leave enough room for excursion, or do you think the surround would hit the grill?

    Depends on the grill and the sub. We know that sub is DXi104 which isn't really a high exursion sub. Which grill r u planning on using?
