Well, it looks like the discomfort on the outer edge of my right foot on Tuesday and today (Thu) may have something to do with the Peroneus Brevis tendon. It doesn't hurt while I'm running but more of a discomfort and achy while I'm in the shower. Massaging it clears it right up but since my ankle is also feeling a bit week (no pain), I think it's time to lay low and use the elliptical or bike instead. No issues yesterday when I was on the bike (Wed).
I guess I better stick with 3 miles instead of 5. No problems at the 3 mile mark but I start to get tired at 4. My heart and lungs love 5 miles and I love the few hours of nirvana after my runs but the rest of my body needs to catch up. I'll give it a week or two.![]()
