Default What speakers are these ?

It's driving me insane that I can't think of who made these speakers. They show up at about 10 seconds and towards the end.
I should know this; I used to know this; I must know this.

You'll have my eternal gratitude. Or until the end of the weekend. Which still isn't too bad.

I'm completely guessing here but they look to me like some Advents.
In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence.

Yup, look like Advents to me, too. Probably the better ones with actual walnut veneer rather than the "utility" version.

    all the best,

    ADVENT !!

Aaahhhhhhh..... that's it. That was stuck up in the memory stack behind "AR"
which I knew was wrong and "Allison" which I knew was wrong ......

It's hard to retrieve stuff out of the Dead Zone. Straight up, thanks !

Did any other manufacturers use the fake wood lattice grill like on the speaker at the far right of the last pic? Those look like a pair of RadioShack speakers that I have.

    ^^^ Pretty sure those are Pioneer CS ... uhm .... 99 ?

Had a shipmate that had a pair of those back in '76 or so.
Actually nice ROCk speakers, meant for Led Zeppelin, etc.

The lattice grilles were pretty common on Japanese consumer speakers of a certain era.

If you want to get some idea of the ridiculous and the sublime in Japanese loudspeakers, look at: http://www.audio-heritage.jp/
