Default new post on up grading ICs

Hello once again, Earlier I posted that I wanted to up grade my lame ICs to something more worthy. I looked at CNA Python dual ICs which I thought was a good price. Keep in mind I'm poor and need to maxamize my purchases. The response I got was that they looked better than what I have now but not the leap most of you guys would go for. So I did some reasearch and called
Audioquest and w/ a very snooty additude they gave me a price for a meter and a half at $180 which is so outside of my pricepoint and thinking it just blew me away. Next I called Bluejean Cable who make to order and was willing to talk w/o an additude and their price came to $33.50 for a pair of ICs. Quite a difference, probably better than the Pyhtons I wanted so they are probably the ones to go to. Even though they cut to order their turn around time is 1-2 days, not bad. As for the advice for looking at the for
sale section w/ polk nothing really showed up or was to much to go for.
Again advice was given, I listened and didn't exactly take action but at least did some reaserch.Again I must say the people at AUDIOQUESTwere not nice at all.......LW

I am personally going to get a HT set of SignalCable Analog Two's. Club Polk members get a discount and most folks will agree they are great mid range cables.

A set of 5 3 footers will cost me 152ish. A regular pair of 2 footers will cost you 54 dollars + shipping. These prices do not reflect any discounted rates.

So give them a call and see what they can do for you.

BlueJeansCable is also a great company as well.

The signal cable analog 2's would be my first choice of the bunch. It would be tough to beat the Signal 2's in that price range.
You won't find a big degree of variance in SQ with under 50 buck cables, none that I ever heard anyway.

I would be interested in knowing how the Belden 1694A IC's (Blue jeans) perform as analog IC's...

    Source: C.E.C. CD-3300 CD Transport
    DAC: Benchmark DAC/PRE
    Linestage: Placette Audio Passive
    Power Amp: Parasound HCA-1500A

Their LC-1 is the IC to get and the one they recommend.

not a pattern but advice was given and put down my first choice. So I did some due diligence and found some other companies that can fit my wallet. Sorry if you don't like that....LW
