Default MYESound spikes on the way!

Had an email convo with Grant from Myesound and finally ordered a set of spikes for my SDA's. Should be here shortly as they are coming via airmail. I'm doing the happy dance!

You will be saying to yourself "why did I wait so long to get these??" They are one of the best tweeks for your speakers IMHO..

And I have TOOLFORLIFEFAN's spikes on my 1C's, they're great too!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Mye Sound spikes are made from solid brass billet, not steel like the stock ones. Brass has long been the preferred choice for spikes.

I'm hoping I like them half as much as everyone says I will.

I thought about getting a set the day I picked up the 1C's, but decided to wait. If I did every single upgrade at once, even before I have had a chance to audition them as is...I wouldn't appreciate each individual tweak for what they are. It helps to understand why you all make certain tweaks and adjustments.

I started to make my own set at work. I started with long shank bolts. I cut the heads off and turned down the shanks to a sharp point. They came out so sharp with the 8 degree angle I chose that I thought the SDA's would push them half way through the subfloor. Figured for the price, I might as well just order a set and be done with it.

The spikes arrived yesterday all safe and sound. Very nice looking pieces! Unfortunately, they will have to wait until the weekend for an install. I don't think the wife unit would appreciate a 2am test session.
